THREE FISHES STORY- A Story on Foresight and preparedness -Panchatantra tale illustrated by Kumaraswamy Rewritten by Haritha

THREE FISHES STORY

There is a fresh water pond in a village. There are some fish in it, three of them are close friends. They are Sumati,Kaalamatiand Mandmati.

Sumathi goes to her friends
Kaalamati, Mandmati and warns them about the situation that this time the sun will be high.

There is a danger that all the water in the pond will decrease due to this sun, so let's leave this pond quickly and go to the big pond at the end of the village, otherwise the fishermen will come to catch us.

Sumathi says they can catch us easily. Kaalamati and Mandmati laughed mockingly at Sumathi's words.

As Sumathi had expected, the water in the pond had reduced due to the intensity of the sun. As there was still some water, the fishermen came there and threw their nets into the pond to catch fish.

Kaalamati and Mandamati were caught in that net. Kaalamati remained motionless at the net as if sensing danger.

The fisherman saw
Kaalamati and threw this dead fish into the pond.
But Mandamathi was there without thinking about anything. The fisherman took the fish home.

MORAL OF THE STORY
Hazards should be recognized and removed in time.
That's why you should think about what is going to happen first and protect yourself from accidents. Otherwise, when accidents occur, one should escape from difficulties in time. When it is not like that, it is as if it has bought and brought hardships
