Meat Cutlets with Onion Rings Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 large potato, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
- For Onion Rings:
- 2 large onions, cut into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Water (as needed for batter)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, mashed potato, chopped onion, green chilies, minced garlic, grated ginger, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small patties/cutlets.
- Dip each cutlet into beaten eggs and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the cutlets until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil on paper towels and set aside.
- For the onion rings, mix all-purpose flour, paprika, salt, and enough water to make a thick batter.
- Dip onion rings into the batter and fry them until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the meat cutlets with onion rings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
