Meat Cutlets with Onion Rings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground meat (beef or chicken)
  • 1 large potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • For Onion Rings:
  • 2 large onions, cut into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as needed for batter)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, mashed potato, chopped onion, green chilies, minced garlic, grated ginger, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties/cutlets.
  3. Dip each cutlet into beaten eggs and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the cutlets until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil on paper towels and set aside.
  6. For the onion rings, mix all-purpose flour, paprika, salt, and enough water to make a thick batter.
  7. Dip onion rings into the batter and fry them until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve the meat cutlets with onion rings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
