Ingredients:
- 4 chicken pieces (legs or thighs preferred)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Oil for frying (vegetable or peanut oil)
Steps:
Chef Nisha: "Start by marinating the chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight if you have the time."
Chef Nisha: "In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper."
