Ingredients
- 500g minced chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Once the onions are browned, add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft and the oil begins to separate from the mixture.
- Now, add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and coriander powder. Stir well and cook for a minute to allow the spices to release their flavors.
- Next, add the minced chicken to the pan. Break up the chicken with a spoon and mix it well with the spices.
- Cook the chicken for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's cooked through and no longer pink.
- Check for seasoning and add salt to taste. You can adjust the spice level by adding more chili powder if desired.
- Once cooked, garnish the spicy minced chicken with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, bread, or wraps.
